Sin is generated by specific rituals

Three rituals state they generate Sin directly. Rite of Lust has followers compete in a naked dance and lets you pick a favourite dancer to receive Sin. Rite of Wrath lets followers indulge in havoc and violence, then you select the Wrath Leader to receive Sin. Sinner’s Pride makes one follower take on the Sin of others. Gluttony of Cannibals generates full Sin but costs -40 Faith.

The Lamb marriage line is its own system

Wedding marries one of your followers and grants +30 Faith. Follower Wedding Ceremony joins two followers to each other. Unmarry ends a marriage between you and a spouse. These are three separate entries, so a ceremony between followers is not the same act as marrying one yourself.

Winter locks and unlocks warmth

Solstice Lights locks Warmth at full for a day. Bonfire Ritual II locks Cult Warmth at full for 1 day while followers dance. Midwinter Celebration heals all freezing and ill followers and can only be performed once per winter, at night. Warmth locks are the winter equivalent of a faith lock: a known-length window you plan around.

Snowlambs are temporary workers

Life to the Ice temporarily imbues Snowlambs with life so they can work as followers. They are not recruited followers, so do not count them toward your food and housing planning. Treat the effect as labour you rent for a fixed window.

Winter can be switched once you have the shrine

The ability Winter’s Touch reads: enable or disable winter from Yngya’s shrine in Woolhaven. That makes winter a toggle you own after the fact rather than a season you must endure — which changes how much you need to prepare for it.
