Follower form sprites

assets/forms/*.webp are follower-form sprites taken from the official Cult of the Lamb Wiki (https://cult-of-the-lamb.fandom.com/wiki/Follower_forms), which the game's own site links to. They are cached locally at 240 px width to avoid hotlinking. assets/forms/yngya.webp is an animated WebP derived from the Yngya idle animation on the same wiki. Game artwork remains the property of its respective owners; the underlying wiki content is CC BY-SA.

Doctrine choice icons

assets/doctrines/*.webp are the doctrine choice icons from the same official wiki (https://cult-of-the-lamb.fandom.com/wiki/Doctrines), cached locally at 140 px width.

Trait icons and reference tables

assets/trait-icons/*.webp come from the follower trait tables, and assets/reference/*.webp from the tarot card, relic, curse, weapon and achievement tables on the same official wiki. All are cached locally at 120 px width instead of being hotlinked. Game artwork belongs to its respective owners; wiki content is CC BY-SA.

Official visual language references

The homepage uses small, locally cached decorative assets from the official Cult of the Lamb website to reproduce its visual language: the Lapture display font, ribbon navigation treatment, grass texture, eye divider, smoke divider and Lamb cutout. Game artwork remains the property of its respective owners. The font is identified from the official site; its redistribution license has not been independently established. These assets are not claimed as original or CC BY-SA material.

These are promotional/game artwork references. The site is an unofficial fan project and does not claim ownership of the game assets.

Character portraits

Each portrait is a local WebP copy of the image shown on the corresponding community-maintained Cult of the Lamb Wiki page. The filename is the canonical character ID used by the generated route, so the page, local path and source stay linked. Fandom community content is available under CC BY-SA unless otherwise noted. The Wiki hosts game artwork; its text license does not automatically license underlying game art.

The character index also links to the source character index. The local portrait set is intentionally compressed and totals less than 700 KB. Images load lazily on the index to keep the wiki pages fast.

Illustrated Wiki navigation and collection images

Retrieved September 21, 2026. Original image URLs were used instead of the 50–100 px thumbnails. Assets were resized only downward (maximum 400 px), preserving transparency, and saved as WebP. No generated Wiki item art is used. The asset manifest records each local path, exact original URL, reference page and rights note. Game artwork remains the property of its respective owners.

Form labels and unlock descriptions were corrected against the same source pages. The legacy rotten-rabbit ID displays the documented Rotten appearance; the legacy goat URL remains readable as a playable-character reference.

Original icons and names were checked on the Fandom Follower traits page. Exact source URLs are in the asset manifest.

assets/official/home-temple.webp is a 527 × 640 px WebP resized from the official transparent temple illustration: https://www.cultofthelamb.com/_next/static/media/temple.5c67c44b.webp . Used for the homepage cult-life directory, alongside existing official grass/smoke assets. Game artwork © Massive Monster / Devolver Digital; no independent redistribution license is asserted. Existing Lamb and ritual artwork are reused for the compact search hero.

Official palette and outbound store links

Measured in the live official homepage on September 21, 2026: Lapture heading red rgb(249, 0, 0) / #F90000; body text #F1EDD9; dark section backgrounds #0F0E0F and #070403; supporting neutral panels #282828; deep red #C10016. The homepage uses the dark surfaces in place of the earlier gray-green field. Store destinations in src/gameLinks.js come directly from the official homepage anchors; no direct installer or free-download claim is made.

Gameplay walkthroughs are maintained in src/guides.js, with their reference pages attached to each guide. They are concise editorial summaries rather than a claim of comprehensive coverage.

Recipe quantities checked against the Cooking reference. Illustrative art, not an in-game screenshot. Used in Getting started.
• /assets/guides/before-your-next-crusade.webp — same ChatGPT session and date; original English illustration covering heavy attacks, shielded Scamps and charging distance. Text checked against https://cult-of-the-lamb.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons . Used in Preparing for a crusade.
• Both are 1024 × 1536 WebP images; full PNG originals remain outside the published directory. English captions are repeated or expanded as accessible article text.
